Evelyn Clarke and Craig Bayley founded ECB Training Services in early 2013 in response to the emerging business opportunities around the delivery of training on the INPEX gas project in Darwin in late 2012. The opportunity was in line with our expertise in training and our passion for high quality training outcomes. We understand the effectiveness of training to deliver change in both the lives of individual trainees and workers and ensure quality outcomes for industry.
ECB has been providing specialised training and Verification of Competency assessments to Tier 1 contractors across the INPEX Gas project over the last six (6) years. From this base we have expanded our scope and we now deliver accredited training in the Logistics, Mining and Civil Construction sectors.
Our inspiration to combine a Labour Hire business with our training services comes from our combined 20 years of experience working in remote locations in the Northern Territory and seeing the lack of quality training in both urban and remote locations. We had heard many stories of indigenous people saying they need training to help get into jobs and this provided us the full understanding of the disparity between what indigenous people faced in remote communities and what our clients demanded within industry. Our experience ensured that ECB developed a service wrapped around our clients’ needs and that we provide opportunities for local workers and also build a well-trained and reliable workforce for our industry clients.

Labour hire employment
Implement a co-ordinated Indigenous workforce solution specialising in Oil & Gas, Construction, and the Resource Industries. Providing the right people with the right skills, knowledge and qualification for the job. By working closely with our clients to achieve their desire in employment retention, through a screening, training, and upskilling towards a highly qualified Indigenous labour hire workforce.
Mentoring
Provide a considerate approach that addresses cultural diversity and therefore appropriated accordingly, relevant to Indigenous employees and their intellects. Health and Safety Representative & Refresher Training - ECB Training Services are a NT Worksafe approved provider of the Health and Safety Representative Course (initial) 5 day course and one day Refresher Course.

Capability Statement
ECB Training Services Pty Ltd is a leading Indigenous owned operated training provider in the Northern Territory. We offer both accredited and non-accredited training and a mobile workforce providing local engagement through Northern Australian construction, mining and resources industry sector.
Our Accredited training is delivered using approved material from the Australian Skills Council of Australia. Verification of Competency (VOC). Assessments and procedures are contractually approved in order to discharge our clients’ obligations under the Work Health and Safety Act and Regulations.
Our other areas of service delivery include Indigenous pre-employment programs and ongoing accredited training delivery within the Northern Territory Mining sector. We employ a team of highly qualified and experienced trainers who pride themselves on training service delivery excellence.
