Job Trainer could offer you access to a free or low-fee vocational education and training (VET) course. Through Job Trainer you can study an accredited diploma, certificate or a short course. These courses can prepare you for work in fast-growing industries that need skilled workers.
Job Trainer is a joint Commonwealth and State government initiative. It provides additional funding to increase access to free or low fee training for young people and job seekers, and in priority programs.

RII20720 - Certificate II in Civil Construction
This qualification reflects the role of individuals working in an operational role in civil construction, who undertake a prescribed range of tasks using limited practical skills and fundamental knowledge, in a defined context working under supervision.

The objective of the User Choice Funding Program is to increase the responsiveness of the vocational education and training sector to meet the needs of clients through the encouragement of a direct and market driven relationship between individual public and private training providers and clients.
User choice funding is provided to registered training organisations to provide training and assessment to apprentices and trainees to achieve nationally recognised qualifications.

This qualification reflects the role of individuals such as production operators, working in open cut coal or metalliferous mines or quarries, who perform tasks involving a broad range of skilled applications in a varied work context, using some discretion and judgement in selecting equipment, services or contingency measures.
SHB20216 - Certificate II in Salon Assistant
This is a preparatory qualification which provides a defined and limited range of basic skills and knowledge used in hairdressing salons by individuals who provide assistance with client services. These routine and repetitive tasks are completed under direct supervision and with guidance from hairdressers who manage the client service.
